For the sixth consecutive year, Platinum Pools is, again, amongst the top ten pool builders in the country by Pool and Spa News Top 50 Pool Builders in North America. Since 1998, we’ve been in the business to provide high-quality swimming pools at affordable prices, all while treating people and our work with the respect that they deserve.
PSN Top 50 Pool Builder – How We Achieved It!
We couldn’t be more grateful to PSN Magazine for the recognition, six years in a row! We also recognize the other fantastic pool builders in the Houston and Greater Texas area who share the same stories that many of us in the Top 50 have. Since 2012, PSN has revamped their system not just looking at the revenue, but seeing the bigger picture to help determine the overall value of a company by the following criteria:
- Top 10 Residential Construction Revenue – calculated in combining earnings from new residential construction and renovations.
- Top 10 Total Revenue – total revenue is not considered as part of the judgment, but many do want to know the whole scenario. This category overlaps the residential construction category
- Top 10 in Staff Management – behind every great company is a great staff. PSN considers aspects such as education, in-house training, continuing education, degrees, and certifications in determining staff management rankings.
- Top 10 Industry Involvement – an active pool company is involved in associations. While many joins into main associations based on their services provided, the clear majority join other associations such as the Better Business Bureau and their local Chamber of Commerce. Other associations include the American Concrete Institute, as well as other national landscape organizations.
- Top 10 Web Presence – this category observes the presence of swimming pool companies on the world wide web. It’s not only about having an effective website but also in participating in social media. Platinum Pools is present on all the major social media sites, including Houzz.
- Top 10 Community Involvement – giving back to the community is essential and a part of every good business. Whether it is through charity events, voluntary work, Platinum Pools gets high marks when it comes to our community involvement.
