Understanding the Design Phase of a Luxury Pool
When most people think of building a pool, they imagine the final splash, the cool water, the summer parties, and the relaxation. For us, the magic starts long before the first shovel hits the ground. For example, in a recent project, the home featured distinct warm, earthy tones. To ensure the new outdoor space felt cohesive rather than tacked on, we continued those specific tones through the paver selection and utilized a desert gold plaster for the pool interior. This intentional color matching blurs the line between indoors and outdoors, making the entire property feel like one unified estate.
Designing the “Wow” Factor: Custom Features

Consider the impact of a negative edge. In one of our signature design, we utilized a negative edge lined with striking blue tile to create a visual link between the pool and a man-made lake beyond it. To soften the modern lines, we incorporated over 20 tons of moss rock, allowing the water to flow naturally into the spa as if it were a mountain spring. These features are not bought off a shelf; they are sculpted to fit the specific view and vibe of the property.

Behind the scenes, the design phase also involves solving invisible puzzles. Sometimes, the most beautiful pools require the most complex engineering. We have encountered projects where high-water tables or unstable soil required us to use creative solutions, such as installing helical piers to secure the pool structure to the ground.
