Platinum Pools – Working Hard In Our Community

In Featured Post by Platinum Pools

On March 20th, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic disease. While everyone is going through self-quarantine, governments around the world are working to find solutions in getting back to “normal.” However, for our company, it doesn’t mean that we can’t stay connected and continue providing excellent service.

Recently, KPRC-TV, an NBC affiliate in Houston, created the “Support Local” segment on their evening news. It spotlights businesses challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic. Companies share their story on TV and how they are helping the public during this time. We took the opportunity to share our story with all Houstonians.

Last month, Scott Waldo, president, and owner of Platinum Pools gathered the team and, together, found a solution to keep the company running safely during the quarantine

What Are We Doing To Stay Safe During This Time?

Platinum Pools’ emphasis is in following CDC guidelines that can help the community to stay safe. Each department has different needs to operate appropriately, but with aiming to one goal…to be available for our customers and those looking to build a pool during this pandemic. By using digital resources, our administrative team can work from their homes. Smartphones are also handy for our construction workers who are out in the field, connecting with co-workers.

  • Sales – with cellphones and a laptop, our sales team is staying in contact with customers whose pools are currently under construction or are looking to purchase a pool. During this time the sales team has been giving customers the choice to meet via video conferencing using Zoom. This allows the sales team and customers to have a “face-to-face” appointment experience without ever having to be “face-to-face” at the office or in the customer’s home.
  • Service Team – our service team is ready to assist customers with any service needed for their pools. They will be using masks as well as keeping at least six feet distance away to ensure safety.
  • Construction Crews – safety during construction is vital in construction especially during this time, keeping your distance is imperative and masks will be worn on the job site. Our construction team is friendly and ready to put a smile on the face of the community. While everyone is on edge in this quarantine, the Construction Crew is working hard to make the process smoother, ensuring our clients to feel safe and relaxed.

During this time, we are doing all we can to follow CDC guidelines as we continue to serve our community. Doing this we have been able to keep over 800 Texans safely working. We are committed to continuing to provide excellent service by providing alternative meeting methods and utilizing technology to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our customers.
